After selecting or creating an organization to which you wish to sub-assign you will begin the process of managing your IP resources.
To sub-assign an IP address block, the system will load a screen that allows multiple operations, so you will be able to review the process as you complete it.
There are two methods available for sub-assigning an IP address block
- Basic Method: This method uses a user-friendly assistant for all operations.
- Advanced Method: This method allows advanced users to perform the operations through the command line. *Not yet available in this version.
By clicking the [Next] button on the Basic Method panel you will begin the sub-assignment process. The panel will display a predefined IP address block to be assigned to the selected organization.
After checking the IP address block, click the [Add] button.
The system will display a preview of the operation which you can then confirm. This preview includes:
- Source organization
- Parent IP address block
- Destination organization
- IP addresses to be assigned
To complete the sub-assignment just click the [Confirm] button.
If you wish to check your data once again, click the [Back] button to return to the previous step. You can also click the [Cancel] button to cancel the operation.
