Select the [Services] / [RPKI] option on the organization's context menu to access the section for creating ROAs and managing the details for RPKI:
In the RPKI section you will find the ROA creation interface. Go to the “Update RPKI status” section in the upper right part of the interface, where you will be able to create the corresponding ROAs.
This ROAs creation model allows us to use a .csv file to create, modify, or delete ROAs in bulk, performing a single operation:
Updating RPKI status
1) [Download current status] allows you to download the current status of all ROAs registered for your organization:
This will download a .csv file, with the format you must use for your organization's resources.
Example of a .csv file obtained using the [Download current status] option:
Interpreting the .csv file:
- Using row 4 (201.219.252.0/23,24,AS6666,UY-OPPL-LACNIC) as an example:
- “201.219.252.0/23”: Block that will be advertised.
- “24”: Prefix of the most specific block you wish to allow to be advertised with the ROA.
- “AS56666”: ASN that will advertise the specified block.
- “UY-OPPL-LACNIC”: OrgID (identifier created by MiLACNIC at the time of registering an organization) associated with these ROAs.
- The example also shows that other ROAs have been created:
- Block 201.219.252.0/22 for AS264845 with a maximum length of 24 (row 1).
- Block 201.219.252.0/23 for AS264845 with a maximum length of 23 (row 2).
2) In the .csv file, we can modify/edit existing ROAs, delete or create new ones.
Once the changes are complete (and the .csv has been saved), go back to the ROA creation interface and click [Select file] to upload the modified .csv file.
Then use the [Preview] feature to see the effect that the ROA will have on your announcements before confirming the changes. For more information on how the preview feature works, go to: [LINK TO “PREVIEW”]
3) Once you confirm the changes, a pop-up notification will appear: “ROAs successfully created” o "ROAs have been successfully updated".
This means that the changes have been saved and will now appear in the “List of ROAs managed by my Organization,” which you can access from the context menu to the right of the RPKI interface.
