To ensure that the contact information is up to date and guarantee effective communication, LACNIC regularly verifies the primary email address associated with each user. To contribute, users are encouraged to register a second email address.
Note: A secondary email must be registered to enable two-factor authentication (2FA). For further details on how to configure 2FA, click here.
To validate your user, log in with your username and password, then go to the drop-down menu under your UserID and click on [Profile].
On the [Profile] menu, select the [Email addresses] tab. There, you will be able to set your primary email address and add new email addresses.
When an email address is added, a confirmation email is sent to validate the contact.
If you do not receive this email, you can ask for it to be sent once again by going to the [Profile] menu and clicking on the [Resend validation email] button. You will receive an automatic message from the MiLACNIC System, along with a link to verify your email address:
After you go to this link, you must click [I have read and accept the terms]:
Once this step is complete, your email address will be validated, and you will be redirected to the MiLACNIC login menu.
