There are two ways to check the status of your requests:
- If you are already a LACNIC member and hold resources
- If you are not yet a LACNIC member and this is your first request
Both methods will be described below.
- If you are not yet a LACNIC member:
If you are not yet a member, select [Other Organizations] from the context menu. This will display a list of all the organizations managed by the user who is currently logged in.
On this list, locate the organization for which you submitted the request you wish to track and select [Request IP Addresses/ASNs].
This will take you to a new screen that shows all the requests you have submitted. This interface displays the following information:
- The ticket number associated with each request
- The type of request and the organization it relates to
- The organization that submitted the request
- The current status of the request
- The date the request was submitted
Selecting [More information] will open a new screen with additional information. In this new screen, you will be able to go through the different stages of the selected request:
Request stages and requirements:
Each type of request has different stages and requirements, which you can review individually to better understand how long you will have to wait until the process is complete and you receive the resources or finalize the requested transfer.
To navigate between stages, simply click on the stage you wish to view in more detail, such as “New”, “Analysis”, “Approved”, or “Assigned” in the example shown in the image below.
Keep in mind that:
- Stages highlighted in blue have been completed or are in progress.
- The stage outlined in gray is the one currently selected.
Within each stage, information is organized into three columns:
- The “Pending” column shows only requirements for stages that have not yet been completed and that cannot move forward. However, you can review this information to understand the upcoming steps and requirements needed to complete the request.
- The “Started” column shows the requirements that must be completed during the current stage.
- The “Completed” column lists the requirements that have already been completed.
For example, the following image shows the “Analysis” stage, where you can see that:
- There are no requirements in the “Pending” column.
- The “Started” column shows five requirements (Utilization Plan, Interconnection Plan, Deployment Plan, Tax Registration and Confirmed Phone) that have not yet been submitted by the applicant.
- There are no requirements in the “Completed” column.
In each box you will also find important information to help you understand what is needed for each requirement:
- The name of the requirement, a brief description, its status, and date.
- Each requirement also includes a tag indicating the stage to which each requirement corresponds. In this case, the tag says “Analysis” because this request belongs to the “Analysis” stage.
Request status:
Finally, the header always indicates whether the request is awaiting a response from LACNIC or from the applicant. The status appears in the upper right corner of the screen:
- If the status is “Pending Analysis,” a response from LACNIC is pending.
- If the status is “Awaiting Response,” the applicant must submit the required information for the request to move forward.
2. If you are already a LACNIC member and have resources:
From the context menu, select [Reports] / [Status of Requests] to access this module:
There you can view all requests submitted by the organizations you manage. This screen shows the following information:
- Ticket number associated with each request
- Type of request and organization to which it relates
- Organization that submitted the request
- Current status of the request
- Date the request was submitted
To view details about the stages and requirements that have already been completed and/or those which are still pending for your request, select [More information] to open a new screen with additional information.
