Process for editing the TECHNICAL and ABUSE contacts for an ASN:
- To begin, follow the steps below:
1) On the context menu, select [Manage].
2) Select the ASN for which you wish to edit the contact.
3) Click [Edit Contacts] to begin the process of editing the Technical and Abuse contacts for the ASN.
- To begin, search for the name*, email address or ID of the contact to whom you wish to assign the roles.
*Note: The contact must be registered on MiLACNIC and their account must be active.
- The search will return a list of all the contacts/users you can assign as the new TECHNICAL or ABUSE contacts for the ASN you are editing.
Important: If your search does not return the desired match because the user is not registered on our database, you can begin the process of creating a new user.
- To edit the Technical contact, from the list select the [TECHNICAL] button for the contact you wish to assign. You can repeat this process, selecting a different contact/user until you are happy with your choice.
- To finish, click [Save]. Otherwise, click [Discard changes] (if you wish to restore the previous configuration).
- To edit the Abuse contact, from the list select the [ABUSE] button for the contact you wish to assign. You can repeat this process, selecting a different contact/user until you are happy with your choice.
- To finish, click [Save]. Otherwise, click [Discard changes] (if you wish to reset the previous configuration).
