After selecting or creating an organization to which you wish to sub-assign, you can begin the process of managing your IP resources.
To sub-assign an IP block, the system will display a screen where you will be able to perform multiple operations. This will allow you to review the process as you complete it.
There are two methods available for sub-assigning an IP address block.
- Basic method: This method provides a wizard to help any type of user to perform the operations.
- Advanced method: This method allows advanced users to perform the operations via command line. *Not yet available in this version.
By clicking [Next] on the Basic Method panel, you will begin the sub-assignment process. The panel will display a predefined IP address block to be assigned to the selected organization.
After checking the IP block, click the [Add] button.
The system will show a preview of the operation for you to confirm. This preview includes:
- Source organization
- Parent IP address block
- Destination organization
- IP addresses to be sub-assigned
To complete the sub-assignment, simply click [Confirm]. Your operation is now complete.
If you want to review your data, click [Back] to return to the previous step. You can also click [Cancel] to cancel the operation.
